    Series X shut down and doesn't turn on anymore


    The wifey was playing Two Point Hospital and the Series X just shut off

    Tried every troubleshooting solution, and nothing. It doesn't even turn on.

    The warranty I have at EB Games is great because if there is something wrong, they'll replace it. But damn, no inventory. One of the staffers at EB Games mentioned that they have no idea when they'll restock and word is early 2021.

    Gonna call Microsoft tmrw morning, however I'm not as optimistic seeing some of the stories here on this sub dealing with support. We'll see.

    Maybe Xbox Live is shutting down on the 360 to make way for the series x/series as s?

    Trying restarting your router and modem. Then shut down your Xbox, unplug it, plug it back in a few seconds later, then turn it back on. If that don't work and you have access to running an ethernet cable to your Xbox, try that instead. If that doesn't work, delete your profile and resign in. If that doesn't work, tell me which Xbox you have: 360, One, or Series X|S.

    I tried the above and after shutting console completely down and turning back on, the picture doesn't seem to be there anymore. Thanks for the suggestions because it was getting creepy that everything I was doing didn't work lol.

    Series x shutting down

    I was running into the same problem for days with no available solutions working. But after disabling a few things while troubleshooting, i found that 4k uhd was the culprit. After disabling it and running 1080p with raytracing enabled, i have had zero
    shutdowns. With 4k enabled i would notice prior to shutdown that the game would stutter when dismounting my aim. Seconds later it would crash. For the past 2 days i have logged multiple 4-5 hour sessions without any problems. Its truly disappointing to have
    a 4k capable console, not capable of 4k. Hopefully a future update will correct this.
