Series x randomly shuting off and on

I bought 3 tvs in the last 2 mouths because Everytime I play anything the game would shut on and off for like a second and it does it randomly. Plus it doesn't do it while using any of the other apps in the Xbox just games. The Yves i thought where cheap so i blame it on the TV's but the last one is a good brand so now I'm thinking is the Xbox cause it can't be all the TV's . The brands where Hisense ug8 Wich looked awesome until the random shut downs then I took it back and got me the tcl 6 series which looked very good but again after a few days the same started to happen so again bact to best buy and i just said it might be the cheap TV's so i got the Sony x90j and after one month the same thing . My Xbox is in a very well ventilated area in my living room Wich has a ceiling fan plus i got a small fan right behind the Xbox were the cables are. Ohh and i have an HDMI 2.1 cable just in case but still no go.

Hi there,

it could indeed be a hardware related issues, but to be sure I would suggest trying a factory reset on the console, to see if that helps anything. Also if you have any external storage devices connected be sure to disconnect those.

If a factory reset doesn't help then I also suggest setting up a repair request.

Side note: In regards to the fans, you mentioned one is behind the console, I personally would leave ventilation up to the console itself, it's designed in a specific way and a fan close to the console might disrupt the intended airflow
