Series x Party Chat Error [0X801901AD]

Good afternoon again gentlemen,

I’ve been trying to relocate this thread, sorry for the long sabbatical.

Anyway, WG told me to open up ports blah blah blah and it’s still no good. The whole things a joke. Don’t worry though - if they released 10k doubloons for 5p that would soon be fixed! I’ve just opened up another ticket with them - I told them that short of doing a rain dance standing on my head I’m not sure what else I can do about it.

I take it no one else has managed any success?

Edit 2: can confirm the headset switch works for me too by the looks of things.

I'm having the exact same problem, and only in World of Warships Legends.

I can stay in a party any amount of time, playing just whatever other game I want to, and I can hear everyone perfectly. The moment I launch WoWsL, the party kicks me out in something between 1 to 10 minutes, without even a notification.

Till now, I'm using the mobile app, with the headset plugged into my phone, and everything works. But if I try to reconnect to the party with the console, sometimes it's not 20 seconds before I'm kicked out of the group.

My friends stay in the party without problems after I've been kicked, and they say that they get a "Player has left the party chat" notification. I can rejoin the party, and I hear them, and then again, poof, kicked in a matter of seconds, or 2 minutes, at best.

I've tried with different controllers (XSX original, Elite controller 2) and it doesn't matter. I'm kicked out.
And it's console related, at least in part (or hardware related, I don't know), because I still have a XOneX and I can play Warships and be in a party without a hiccup.

I'll try a different headset, but that would mean that there is a problem in WoWsL that affects the console-controller-headset trio because the same headset works in the Xbox mobile app.

It's a strange issue, and difficult to ascertain who is at fault and why is occurs.

I was originally using the official Microsoft chat headset .

I resolved the issue by buying a Gameware mono chat headset from game for £7.99 (normally £10.99 was on offer and it looks like it still is ) . Despite being inexpensive it sounds better than my old headset and I haven't had the issue since using it.

I don't know how a different headset could resolve it, but it has.

I've had a response from wargaming. I've gone back and mentioned that this might resolve itself when using a different xbox profile and waiting reply.

However Initial response was (edited to remove names etc).

Please open the following ports on your router:

80 TCP ( login )
443 TCP ( login )
20020 TCP AND UDP ( login )
30000-33000 TCP AND UDP (game and voice)
62900-63000 TCP AND UDP (game and voice)

............................

Now I don't know if this will help resolve, or for that matter make things worse, so bear that in mind. I've tried it and everything still works, but as I mentioned previously, my full fibre seemed to resolve the issue, fingers crossed.
