  1. Series X only displays 640x480 on LG B9

Any suggestions for getting HDMI 2.1 to work with the Series X on a B9? My Xbox keeps starting up in 480p and will not switch unless I use a 2.0 cable. I have a PS5 that works fine with 2.1. I used the PS5 2.1 cable and also tried a new Zeskit and had no luck even after power cycling the Xbox and TV and trying it on the same HDMI port as the PS5. Sent it into Microsoft and they sent me a new unit and still having the same issue. Seems to be some handshake issue but it seems permanently stuck in 480p even on auto-detect.

    Stuck in 640x480

Same issue. Support chat did nothing for me. Xbox One X here. Maybe try a display reset but it automatically resets you in 640x480 witch is the only way I get visual now.

    Xbox One S stuck at 640 x 480 resolution

Given you have tried multiple monitors and cables, then it does point to your console likely being at fault. The 640x480 is like a default display when there are issues....my Series X used to periodically display this on start-up as, for some reason, it would not detect the 4k side of my TV....luckily it always resolved by unplugging the HDMI lead and plugging it back in again.

Best Automatically Compatible Xbox One X 120Hz Freesync Monitors With 1MS Response Time?

Obviously not a monitor, but the LG C9 is hands down the best display for the One X. It’s literally the only one that fully supports all of the One X’s full HDMI 2.1 specs, plus it’s GSync compatible and just generally an amazing display.
