    Series X not working.


    Hi guys.

    Ive had my series X for just over a year. Just after Christmas it suddenly stopped working, if i press the On button it makes the sound of powering up, then after a few seconds it just blinks off. Ive tried power cycling it etc, tried everything but it's totally dead. Now after ive had it sat on my table my 2 year old daughter has shoved a disc inside it and ragged it back out, i can see the disc drive is now damaged. Ive tried till im blue in the face to contact Microsoft since Christmas and had no joy whatsoever, the console is out of warranty and if i follow the instructions to contact them it only leads to an online assistant who then says there is an issue on their end and i can get no further.

    This console is turning out to be a very expensive doorstop as it seems i cant actually get it repaired anywhere!

    I'd be so grateful if someone could advise me.

    Xbox one s isn’t compatible with series s games

    Depending on what the game is, if what you bought is for the Series S/X then it will only work on the Series S/X. The One was released before the Series S/X. One games will work on the Series S/X, but not always vice versa.

    If it's only for a Series S/X, it will not work on a One. One games will work on a Series S/X.

    I. Have madden 24 on my Xbox one S and it says that I’m not able to get the X|S version of madden 24. And I preordered the game July 18th

    The Series S/X version will not work on a One. It'll only work on a Series S or X.

    Why is my NBA 2k23 still Current Gen on the Xbox One when I paid for the X|S version?

    They released that game as a One version and as a Series S/X version. The Series S/X version will only work on a Series S/X.
