Series X Not Popping Up Party or Game Invites

The new party/invite system can take a bit to get used to. In Battlefield 4, you can join friends' servers/games-in-progress by going to the Multiplayer screen, they'll show on the right hand side. To invite people to the same servers as you're playing in,
start a party from the Party app, and invite the applicable friends. If you're both not in a match, it'll throw you both into the same server (if there's room). If a friend is in a server, they will receive a pop-up stating that the party leader is joining
'x' server (it'll also show the game mode) and give you the option to join.

The friends and party system is pretty rubbish at the moment, massive step back from the 360 setup.

there should be a menu that pops up when you hold the xbox button, for quickly inviting people to game or party, also the party should not be limited to the game you are playing, currently you can only invite people to play the same game as the person who
set up the party, and what's the point of making us turn on party chat all the time?

Just party up with the friends who are online already or start a party and invite them. When you start playing a mp game your friends in party will receive a pop up asking if they wish to join or if you are in the same game you will get brought in automatically
from lobby.

One thing that is a little annoyance, that I always bring up to my friends when playing online games for the first time, is how the devs setup the Invite Party to Game Lobby.

I'm usually the one who starts up the Private Rooms or Lobbies for Co-op/MP games & I start by having a Party Chat, which is one of the best things for gamers who play a lot of various games with friends.

So, I already have them in the Party Chat & got the Room/Lobby setup & now need to invite them into the game.

There is usually an option in the room that says "X - Invite Party" & some games do it right while others who annoy me do it wrong.

Right Way = Pressing X automatically Sends the Invites to Party, one & done.

Wrong Way = Pressing X opens up the guide & makes me go through it to send the Invite.

I play with a friend all the time. First we join a party for chat, then we each load up the game. Then one of us starts and then invites the other. If the invite party takes you to a screen where you choose your friend it will not work. If it just pops
up and says party invited then it seems to pull them right into the game.

Oh almost forgot, have to press and hold on the xbox logo light to power cycle system a lot to make it work.
