Series X not picking up Ethernet

Discus and support Series X not picking up Ethernet in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; Tried various ethernet cables, factory reset, cleared alternate mac address.     Series X not picking up Ethernet


    Tried various ethernet cables, factory reset, cleared alternate mac address. Tried updating my firmware on my router. Anybody have any other solutions or have been in this situation? Would really like to avoid sending away my console for months if possible. Thanks

    Hi Plague, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regards to your concern.

    Do you have a PC or Laptop where you can test connecting them using ethernet cable as well? This is to make sure that the port on your router is also working.

    Sounds to me like the Ethernet port is faulty given you have tried all other avenues of troubleshooting. I guess you could try it at a different house to confirm it's the console rather than an issue from your internet

    Okay so the computer may not be using the Belkin router because there are no ports on the computer that allow for a Ethernet cable to connect. There is a wireless card with antenna where the Ethernet usually would plug in so I'm assuming the card with the
    antenna is how the WiFi is being picked up. During the x box test it shows a check mark for wired indicating it is not the Ethernet port on the x box as the check mark would not appear if that were broken.
