Series X not connecting to internet on startup

Over the last 2 weeks or so, my Series X no longer connects to my network (it is hardwired) upon startup. It won't connect when I manually try either. I have to reboot the Xbox, then it starts up just fine. Thoughts?

Have you tried connecting it wirelessly to check if the same issue happens? You can also try the steps provided here: https://support.xbox.com/en-US/help/hardware-ne.... If it persists, you can consider to reset your console while keeping your games & apps.

Your network hardware, gateway, router, modem may need a power cycle to reestablish network connection.

Turn the console off and remove console power cord while the network hardware reboots, (green lights).

Restore power to console and turn on.

when i startup my xbox series x connected to a sony x85k there is 1 sound pop ever since the udate on 9/6/22

Same on muitiple xbox one x, xbox series x, xbox 360. Internet fine not connecting to xbox network.

I have seen that it uses the same OS as the old one. I guess we will see near the launch of the console. But seeing that some reviewers got prototype Series X in their hands I wonder if they were preconfigured or something like that.

That is my point in buying the console.

I thought that they made the internet required startup on the Xbox One to revert the online DRM.

However if they do that on purpose with the Series X it would be very disappointing!
