Series X needs me to upgrade destiny 2 multiple times.

Already did the multiple times. The problem with Destiny 2, is that it will only install the upgrade version from disc or online. From the disc, it comes up with a screen about the upgrade and you either upgrade or it cancels it.

Same thing has been happening to me recently on series x with destiny 2

Xbox Series X games / upgrades / updates has to be installed onto the Series X internal or expansion card SSD,

You can have Xbox One games on your external hard drive that will get an Series X upgrade but the games will need to be transferred to the Series X and then the Series X upgrade will need to be downloaded onto the Series X SSD,

As an example...

I have Marvel Avengers on my external hard drive that will get the Series X upgrade and I will transfer the game over to the Series X SSD ready to download and update the game to the Series X version when available.

I used to use the app multiple times daily until I upgraded to the series x. When I chose a game to install remotely on the Game Pass app my Series X never shows up in the list. Same thing with remote play, even though i have gone through everything I need to to set it up and make it discoverable it still won’t connect.

Had the same issue with my pulse red controller ever since I upgraded to next gen using this controller on the xbox one was fine but on the series x nope happened today again during a crucible match in destiny 2 but it’s also happened on far cry 6
