    Has anyone else who's bought a Series X or S at launch in the UK been able to buy the extended warranty (MS complete) for it?

    If so, how!?

    I bought mine from GAME (retail) and they couldn't offer anything at the time of purchase (amazing really as they usually never shut up about such things) and I've just spent the last half and hour on the phone with MS support and they can't add it as I
    purchased the console from a retailer.

    Absolute madness that you can't choose to BUY an extended warranty from the manufacturer. If I go to any retailer and buy a new TV, an LG or Sony one for example, I can guarantee that inside the box will be a piece of card with a big phone number and a postal
    form for you to buy an extended warranty from them with. Same for pretty much any new electronic product. Why hasn't Microsoft done the same here? It's brand new hardware..... I'm within 45 days of purchase as well.

    Has anyone in the UK had any luck with this? I've got the standard 1 year warranty you get with any new electronic device but I just know, the damn thing will break at some point after that and I want to be covered.

    I got in the chat early this morning on the Microsoft Complete warranty website and added the extended warranty for $49 to my Series X. Took about 15 minutes total to have it added.

    You have 45 days after purchase to add the warranty.

    I pre ordered my Series X through Best Buy and received it and registered it on my Microsoft account on Nov 11th.

    Just this morning I went online to Microsoft Complete warranty website and started an online chat and purchased the extended warranty through Microsoft for $49 plus tax.

    All they did was went online and saw my Series X was registered and added on the extended warranty for me.

    It is really a good deal at $49 and covers 1 console replacement and 2 controller replacements for 3 years. Best Buy warranty is $69 for 2 years and only covers 1 console replacement and 1 controller replacement.

    For the Microsoft Complete extended warranty you must buy iy within 45 days of purchase. Not sure if you can get warranty coverage elsewhere.
