    Series X lost connection abilities.


    Greetings, my friend and I spent the last two hours doing the Destiny 2 mission harbinger, and struggling though the second half. It was really fun and we were really excited to get our two Hawkmoons.

    Then at the final moment of the final boss fight, my series x lost the ability to connect controllers. My teammate killed the boss without realising it and the mission ends timer popped up. I tried seven different controllers and hardwired them all in, none would connect. The mission ended, and I restarted my Xbox Series X. All was well again. However none of the rewards went to my postmaster, and now I have to run it again for another two hours (hopefully not that bad) to get the hawkmoons and feathers.....

    This isn’t the first time this happened, and it also happens with my internet connection. My series x just loses the ability to connect to things and I have to restart it to continue. Regardless of what I am doing. It constantly happens in multiplayer matches. This seems to be a regular occurrence for me. Any thoughts?

    I've figured out it's an Xbox Live issue. All of my apps work except for Netflix and online games. So now I'm trying to figure out why that doesn't work since my subscription is very much paid for and current.

    You should contact your internet provider who has the ability to diagnose your connection

    Have moved xbox temporarily nearer to router and all worked perfectly, issue definitely one of the strength of the wifi, I just wasn't expecting the test results to all be so varied! In any case, problem has been identified.

    Hi, for what it's worth I also use the superhub from virgin media. The signal output on that thing is next to useless, I ended up turning on modem only mode and got a shiny tp-link dual band router. Now my signal is steady around the whole house.
