    Series X local cache is almost full...Halo Infinite?


    This is still very much an issue and I’m surprised more don’t mention it. I have only ever seen this on infinite. First time after hours of playing campaign. Did all suggestions and it was good until finished though I doubt I had any sessions as long as the one. Now it happens EVERY time I play MP for more than a couple hours. Nothing will resolve it. I have reset, did all cache fixes. Halo infinite console. 300GB free on internal…where game is installed. 270GB free on expansion, 900GB free Ext HD connected. Nothing else connected. No disc in drive. Not on any preview plan. Most current community available OS ver. It’s really frustrating. I see alot of posts where people say it’s preview related or only ever see it with Fh5. However, I can play Fh5 All Day from same internal and have never seen it for that game.. Yet. Also, netgear nighthawk router, with no ad blockers and all settings pretty much factory. No QOS, ports forwarded. I don’t f’ing get it. Why can’t 343 fix this? I will mention also that I don’t recall this ever happening with my day one series x but I don’t know how much infinite I played with that. Neither here nor there (maybe) but my infinite console has a 2yr warranty whereas my day one black unit was one year. Um why? Lol. Idk man, this is still a very real thing for series x mid may 2022. Btw, anyone know what happens when it says its full? I mean can you keep playing and getting dailies and weeklies? Please Fix this 343. Funny how I’ve only seen this mentioned with MS 2 biggest games. And even funnier that more aren’t mentioning it… Unless it doesn’t really affect too much. SMH.

    May I know if you're using an insider build / beta OS on your Xbox?
    Also, when you say "I tried doing here reset several times but never work"?
    Do you mean power cycling the console?
    1. Turn off your console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds, until it shuts down completely.
    2. Unplug the console's power cable from the console and from the power outlet. Wait 5 minutes.
    Important: Be sure to wait at least 5 minutes. This step resets the power supply.
    3. Plug the console power cable back in.
    4. Press the Xbox button on your console to turn it on.

    If yes try factory resetting

    the console but keeping games and apps

    Go to settings > system > console info > reset and then select keep my games and apps

    PS: you need to register the accounts again. Make sure you know the email and password before that

    Try reconnecting it to Xbox Live.

    That should solve it.

    I think if you go into settings you can clear clean out cache
