    Series X is turning off when One S turns off [Alpha Skip Ahead]


    I mentioned this in the ASA update post yesterday, but my affect is changing rapidly. The Series X in the living room is turning off (and on) when the One S (also in the living room) is turned on (or off). What could possibly be causing this to occur? Today, I told my son not to turn off the One S when we finished our Minecraft build because I was going to grind out a quick SoT session on the Series X while he ate breakfast and an hour later when the One S went to sleep you know what happened? I bet you do. This is frustrating and I'd like to untick the box that says 'do this horrible thing.' Any advice or guidance? Thank you in advance.

    Strange issue during turning on

    You may have tried to turn the console on while it is completing a System (OS) update.

    I do a lot of OS updates each week (Alpha Skip Ahead Insider) and know that if the fan is blowing air out of the top of my Series X when I try to turn it on, it is updating the System OS.

    Depending on what stage the update is at, Downloading, Verifying or Applying, lights on the console will flash. If you see lights flashing on the console it means the update is rebooting to do the Applying stage of the update. This takes a couple of minutes and then console will go back to Standby mode and the light will go out as in off.

    You can now turn the console back on.

    I just recieved my new series x and it will not turn off my TV. I have followed procedures to have it set up, it worked with my one s just fine.

    Yes I did why would my one s work and the series x not work??? Why did it turn it off once and not again? Turns it on just fine!

    Hulu crashing

    Same problem for me. Series X, Alpha Skip Ahead. As soon as an Hulu tries to load an ad, it crashes to the dashboard. I have reported it through the console too.

    I have this problem with Netflix for about 2 weeks on my xbox one x in Alpha skip ahead. Netflix on my xbox one in Alpha works fine at the moment.
