Series X Green screen when turning off console

Usually this isn't a console issue, mostly a Tv or HDMI issue, try a different Tv to corroborate or lower video settings, you can also try using a different HDMI cable

Sometimes this works

Turn off the Xbox console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds until it shuts down completely.

Unplug the console's and TV power and HDMI cable. Wait 30 seconds.

Plug the console and Tv power and HDMI cable back in.

Press the Xbox button on your console to turn on the Xbox

I've been having a similar issue on my Series X. Haven't had it happen while gaming yet though (with the green screen). Mine seems to be an issue with video playback. Whenever I'm navigating my game DVR viewing clips, it freezes and boots me to the dashboard, then all my clips are green screen. Then if I launch YouTube and try to play a video, it black screens and crashes the entire console (basically turns itself off). When I boot it back up everything's fine and working again. Luckily I've only had it happen a couple times but I worry that it could turn into a bigger issue down the line. I've also experienced a couple game freezes that completely turned the Console off, minus the green screen though, the games just froze and the console turned off.

I tried all of the suggestions you listed but I still cannot play a game of Call of Duty Modern Warfare. My Xbox Series X continues to turn off on its own when I try playing. Sometimes the screen flickers on and off very quickly before the console turns off. Other times the screen freezes and turns a bright green before it turns off. Both my game disc and my console are brand new. I opened them yesterday and I’ve had nothing but issues. Initially the console wouldn’t even turn on. Now it does but now i can’t play my game.

There is no error code. In the settings, Instant-On is selected and turned on, but when I turn the xbox off, it just doesnt turn back on like its supposed to. Every time, I get the start up screen that shows the One X 4K chip, the green xbox screen, then
dashboard. Also, I always have to hit the button on the console, I cant turn it on with a controller.

"No picture, but I hear sound. After factory reset I am left with a one x one inch screen of lines in upper left corner."

Firstly turn off the console and then Remove the power cable from the console

Turn off the TV at the power source.

Turn on TV and switch it to the HDMI setting for the console.

Restore power to console and turn on with the Nexus button X🔘 Does the console restart with splash screen CPU and Green screen and then Home Screen or does it go to the Troubleshooting screen?
