Series X gameplay warps/skips/jumps forwards sometimes (only noticed in single player games).

Did you skip all of the great single player campaigns in the Mass Effect series as well?

Some games which are sequels and around forever are by tradition, like COD, and you know they are single campaign as well.

But as addon appear like DLC and it only says coop, then you start getting less sure.

And buying game on disc, and then DLC is only xbox store - so you want to know.

But a lot of titles I have no clue on beforehand, - not a series you are familiar with.

Some chess games says 2-x players and you assume it has no chess engine built in.

And some games state clearly being online only.

But if it always says Capability - single player - as well if single player campaign exist, then you know. It always state online stuff. And rare occasions single player too.

Sometimes approx size is left out as well, but that is other way around - rare it does not tell. Having 4G with datacap you need that too.

What about games you do like? Like Black Ops 2 for example, would you jump straight to MP and just play that and skip the Single player altogether? we know what you think about this particular game but I'm asking more from the point of view is a game you
love not worth much in Single player.

A game with only a single player campaign and no online multiplayer isn't worth it in my opinion. Most games come with single player, multiplayer and some sort of cooperative gameplay all for 60 bucks.
