Series X game crash with strange sound question

Hello.

Just got the Series X and in the new red dead online update we have multiple game crashes, that happen excactly the same time when me and a friend Play together. (Happens on his console as well, we Are on same network)

When it happen it coming a louder rrrrrrrr sound and the game is frozen. After a few seconds the console throw us to dashboard.

Want to continue to play but this have happen like 4 times now, and im affraid it could damage the console? The sound sounds very damaging

Maby i am a bit overprotected now with my new console? It just feel wrong to continue playing if i can risk anything bad.

Anything this could lead to hardware issues or have it nothing to say?

I dont think it’s the console it is definitly the game itself, since many other online have the same issue with crash only in that online game just got a new dlc, was not a issue before the update.

All other games work just fine.

Same for ps4/ps5 in the same game.

When we get the in game crash and the picture get frozen for 3-4 seconds, then it appear a rrrrrrrrr sound then it throw you back to dashboard on the Xbox, is this crash just the game that closing down or could it be bad for the console to get this type of game crashes?

Hello There ! I highly recommend following the troubleshooting steps here:

After each step try to see if the issue is fixed!

The following troubleshooting step will help you clear out your MAC address:

Settings > Network Settings > Advanced Settings > Alternate Mac Address > Clear it and the console should restart. It would definitely help if you could restart the internet router while the console is restarting.

Another step that you can try to resolve the issue, would be to remove and re-add your account. In order to do that please go to: settings> account> remove accounts> remove your account.

You could also try this troubleshooting step to clear any corrupted data from your device:

1- Go to settings on your Xbox

2- Select system

3-Select storage

4- Clear local saved games and your console will automatically restart

Note: When doing this step please make sure that you always play online so that all your data is saved to the cloud

If the issue still persists after going through the troubleshooting steps mentioned, I invite you to perform a quick power cycle by turning off the console and then unplugging all the cables. After 10-15 seconds plug all your cables back in and then restart your console.

In case the issue still persists, the next step would be to perform a reset on the console. To do so you will need to follow the steps below to perform a reset on the Xbox :

Settings > System > Console Info > Reset This Xbox > Reset and Keep my Games and Apps.

Note =>The "Reset and Keep my Games and Apps" option will not cause losing your games, but please be aware that you need to be completely aware of the email address as well as the password of your account before going for it because it will require you to sign in to the account.

Thank you. The TV I use is indeed an important factor to the graphics. However I use a monitor in 1080p. But my question was if the series x is better than the series s in terms of crashing less
