series x download speed

so i have just got series x my connection speeds is 77.0mps but down load games is now down too 2 hours for gta online i have been on the threads and tried everything x box has suggested is their anything else that can help starting too worry now that getting series x was a huge mistake my x box one is faster downloading than series x i have tested nat type and its open i have reset console cleard mac address reset router tried everything i have seen on community thread

Your download speeds are dictated by the speeds of the servers you are downloading from not by the theoretical maximum your line can support. If that was the maximum you managed with the One, then buying a Series X wouldn't automatically boost speeds.

Are you suggesting that Xbox series x are not capable at all of getting more than 250 download speed? I have a friend who lives less than a mile aware who pulls through over a 1gbps on series x, how do you explain that?

Appreciate 250 is a good speed, but besides the point. Why should Microsoft gamers be limited to 250mbps download speed when WiFi packages exceed this massively?

I’m on the Xbox Series X. The issue hasn’t resolved itself. The download speed is so bad. How can my download speed go from 100-300 Mbps all the way down to 3Mbpa by switching my networks settings to automatic.

done all that still no change except speed increase on network settings

its a bit odd i just turned it on then restarted console it did 3 fast microsoft store updates but gta online still taking 2 hours and another microsoft store one that is taking ages
