    Hi I have a setup which works fine with Dolby Atmos from netflix or any other app that supports Atmos (like Disney+) for example...but not on the Xbox. Despite option being enabled there is no sound in games or in the menu...however when I run the Dolby App and run any of the demos in it then it works , but only in that application. I have similar problem on Xbox one S...it was working before fine but after one of the updates it just stopped...and now I can only use Dolby Digital despite having setup that works with Atmos on any other app I installed on TV and being fed to amp through arc. My setup is Philips OLED854 TV with Onkyo tx-sr444 amp.

    Is there anything I might try ? Audio pass-through is enabled...for whatever reason Xbox is very selective when it runs Atmos for me..

    Dolby Atmos on Xbox One X = issue !

    Hi RomiDumitru,

    *maybe* this "problem" is exactly how the Dolby Atmos App on Xbox One X works.

    Dolby Atmos native content? perfect! Dolby Atmos playback.

    No Dolby Atmos? the App upmix current audio track to Dolby Atmos (the headphones features works in this way).

    I don't know if is intentional.

    I have the problem that Netflix Dolby Atmos is not working with the x box S, if I try to play a series with Dolby Atmos, then Netflix give the text:

    This title can not play try later?

    Configuration is ok at the x box s and all other content without Dolby Atmos will play correct.

    If someone have a solution?

    Ok guys thanks for sharing, the fact is that many games work fine with dolby atmos, so the problem are the games or the app of dolby atmos. AC Odissey,Valhalla and CP2077 for example works fine with Dolby ATMOS audio and ms wireless headset. Gears 5 and Shadow of tomb raider for example work very badly with dolby atmos.

    Hi , same issue on Xbox series x and Netflix app no Dolby Atmos even though shows it on show description, Am using Hdmi lead direct to Samsung Dolby Atmos soundbar , Disney plus works fine

    Netflix was working few weeks ago .. so Microsoft what have you done ?

    Pls fix this ASAP it would be really appreciated

    Xbox Series X Audio Passthrough\Dolby Atmos doesn't work for Netflix or Disney + app

    I have the same problem. Used to get Atmos just fine from Netflix, and since last month it doesn't work.

    The show menus say Atmos but my receiver is only getting a Dolby Surround signal. Atmos still works on my TV Netflix app.

    Also not getting Atmos from the AppleTV app on the Series X.

    Disney+Atmos still works
