    Series X does not turn off completely in Energy Saving Mode


    Series X configured in energy saving mode behaves like instant on and does not shutdown completely. I was forced to use the option shutdown completely to have it turned off.

    Don't understand if it's a OS problem or not.

    I can confirm I've just tested my Xbox Seried X on both modes and there is no difference between the two at the moment (it doesn't have the startup screen etc)

    I am presuming this is a bug at the moment

    Go to settings and turn on energy saving mode. This will turn the console completely off, but will take up to 45-60 seconds to turn on. You will not be able to use the X Box Turn On feature, get updates, or instant start up.

    Mine makes a faint ticking noise. I think it's just he fan. If your worried about saving energy, turn on energy saving mode to turn your box completely off.

    I turned off completely my xbox one, and the problem was gone, before that I turned off the energy saving mode and turned on again

    If I switch mine off in energy save mode it pulses for a few seconds, before completely turning off but thats it - i've never left a disc in though?
