    Hey all,

    I just submitted an official feedback report on this but was curious if any others have been having this. It used to be periodic for me but now it is every time I turn in my console

    I use a Razer Wolverine v2 wired controller - designed for Xbox Series X with the logo from MS and everything that is supposed to mean it was built for it and works seamlessly. MS doesnt just let anyone use that 'Built For Series X' symbol. However, two issues have arisen and are getting worse with each Insider build:

    • The controller cannot turn on the console 98% of the time, despite the console being on and in standby and the controller being plugged in. Oddly, if it is not plugged in and the console is off, simply plugging in the USB cable turns on the console.

    • Again when the controller is connected via USB and the console is off, a new issue that appeared last update is that even the controller stays powered off when the console is turned on, despite it being wired exclusively. I have to get up and unplug it and reconnect the cable again to turn it on.

    Both issues didn't used to happen, and the latter didn't until yesterday mornings Aplha Insider update on July 8.

    Good news! I reverted to the beta build and after the update I was able to go through the setup console instructions again. It prompted a code so I am back remote with the series x 😊. I guess it was the alpha build that was messing it up. Should I try to go back to the alpha build? 🤔

    A patch to fix controllers disconnecting on the Series X was released some months back. As for the current Alpha build, unfortunately I don't know when that will be released or if it will address the issue at all.

    No the game is not the finished product epic have stated, most likely it is a pre alpha build of the game. The game does not release to the public until september

    Why should I have to pay to change my gamertag when I payed $300 for my Xbox and pay for the monthly ultimate subscription? How greedy is this company willing to be?

    actually you can now build a pc that surpasses the series x for less than 600 quid so that is now a moot point. the series x is way outdated hardware these days.
