I bought my xbox series x on August 14 2022, which I have supporting invoice and paid receipt for, thus it should still fall within the 1 year warranty, however per my account - devices my series x reflects "Ended on 13/06/2023" this is incorrect as should be 1 year from the day I purchased the console. Please update my warranty as the console should still be under warranty. I can provide supporting documents as evidence. Call back doesn't work I get no call back from microsoft (absolute trash platform to try and have a call with any support!) and since my xbox is supposedly out of warranty I can't lodge a claim without a large fee, how do I get my warranty updated to the correct date?

    :)

Series X device Warranty is not correct per my purchase invoice & receipt and now I need to claim on device fault however it's outside of incorrectly reduced warranty period assigned.

As Microsoft has no way of knowing from virtually all retailers, Best Buy being a notable exception, of when your sister was purchased, the warranty is by default the day it was manufactured. You will need to contact customer service and submit your receipt to prove your date of purchase to have the warranty adjusted

The date of purchase of the device on the receipt is not the same as the date of the beginning of the warranty in my devices

Hi Ime P, my name is Daniel. I am an independent advisor who is willing to help you.

I imagine it has something to do with the manufacturing of your console or possibly it is just an error. You will need to contact customer service and send your receipt to prove your purchase date to adjust the warranty.

    Xbox Series X Warranty

I have a preorder for an xbox series X but decided against it. Decided to give it to a friend bc they couldn't get a pre order. Will their be an issue with the warranty because it'll be under my CC purchase wise?
No but depending on where yoi bought it like ms store online or anothrr retailer or etailer

You need the origional receipt to buy extended warranty from ms

Or from.the local gamestore like I did though I can still buy ms extended by calling xbox with my receipt within 30 days of purchases (for preorders its when you receipt the unit not preorder)

It doesnt affect the normal warranty though

XBOX Game Pass Ultimate Code from Gamescom not working

Sorry to hear it. Unfortunately what you have been told is correct. You would need to have a receipt or invoice to be eligible for a replacement code.

    Xbox Series X Warranty Issues

Hi Vladimir! My name is Darhyl and I’d be more than happy to help you with your query.

I'm sorry you are experiencing this with your Xbox Series X console warranty.

Nothing to worry! You can request a warranty adjustment for your console according to the official Microsoft website: https://support.microsoft.com/en-US...ranty Support request form and select Submit.

"You will need to contact support in order to update the warranty start date for your Xbox Console. Before they can update your warranty, you will need the following:

Your sales/purchase receipt from an Xbox retailer.
    Your Xbox Console serial number.

When you have your proof of purchase ready, submit a request to update your warranty.

Note: It may take up to 24 hours to update after it's been completed.

Here's how to submit a request to support:

Go to Microsoft account account.microsoft.com > Devices and locate your device.
Select Info & support and, if necessary, select Register to register the device and see coverage details.
On the row for Warranty claims, select Learn more.
    Select submit a request.
Provide information on the Warranty Support request form and select Submit.

In order to update your warranty, you will need to provide a valid sales/purchase receipt from an authorized retailer. If your retailer isn’t on this list, don’t worry, you can send it to them anyway and they will validate it if it meets the following criteria.

A valid sales/purchase receipt will clearly indicate the retailer name, the purchase date, and the item purchased as shown in the example below (in English only). If the sales/purchase receipt does not clearly indicate these requirements, it will not be accepted. "

Thank you for your kindness and understanding! Please feel free to let me know if you need anything else.

    Best Regards,
    Darhyl
