Series X Dead on arrival and support wont help with replacement

I received my series x that I pre ordered from microsoft.com last tuesday and It does not stay on. You hit the power button and it lights up, you hear the sound and then two seconds later it just turns off. I've tried all the steps to troubleshoot it and
nothing works. Got ahold of xbox support and they have been unable to add my console to my devices with the serial number so they cannot make a ticket to do an exchange. I've called and talked to many different people and I'm never able to talk to a supervisor
and they all tell me there's nothing they can do. I received an email a few days later with someone saying they're looking into the matter and due to suspicious activity on the account they will no longer be able to help. They give no reasoning and have not
responded. I've had this xbox account for 12 years, it's the only one I have and I have never been banned or done anything that would result in a ban. Also my xbox live account is active and the one person I talked to said that they don't see any suspicious
activity on my account but they do see a note saying suspicious activity but no reason and then we got disconnected with no call back. I'm posting this with hopes that someone will see it and be able to help me out. Thank you.

Well technically you are still.within the 30day period you would.normally do a refund not a warranty

Also as there is a world.wide shortage of consoles.I doubt they can warranty it due to lack of extra consoles

I don't want a refund, I want to do an exchange even if I have to wait. The shortage isn't the issue that has never been mentioned.

I bought it from Microsoft.com and have sent them the receipt and a pic of the serial number on the box.

My original phone call to service they told me it wouldn't be a problem to have it sent in and I'd have a replacement console sent out immediately and then they said about not being able to add the device and they couldn't make a ticket. Even if I had
to wait for one that's fine I just want them to tell me they'll take care of it.

Unfortunatly there is no one here on the forum that can help you more than xbox support can themselves regarding warranty.

From what I've read and previous experience they detect your console through your gamertag activity if the console has been on through a period of time and use that as a validation of warrenty. Otherwise you could just give them a random serial number and
claim its yours.

Unless you'll able to provide them receipts of purchase I suspect there isn't much more they can do.

Given that the item is faulty and still within 30 days of purchase per the release date are you not able to return to where you bought it.

Also in hindsight given the current shortage of stock even if you did warrenty it you may not be guaranteed a console for a while anyway.
