  1. Series X Controller Powering Down

When I press the Xbox button to turn on my controller and console, the Xbox button lights up and the console starts, but then the controller immediately powers back down after about 3 seconds. Have eliminated batteries as being the cause.

Has anyone else experienced this? Any ideas on how I might resolve it?

My Xbox light flash’s randomly after I turn it off

hello fellow gamers this can also be caused if you leave a USB device plugged in that draws power from your Xbox the Xbox One and the Xbox 360 did the same thang years ago, we used to have one of those old USB charging docs that plugged into your Xbox 360 and every time we were done using it my dad would unplug it because it would annoy him to sit and watch the power light on the Xbox Paulse off and on

the series X does the same thang the only reason know this is because I prefer to use afterglow corded controller's and I have an Xbox series X and every time I don't unplug my controller when I'm done with my Xbox and power it down the power light on my series X Paulse's forever. LOL

Do I need a new controller?

Hello ÚÑKÑØẄÑ ©, My name is David. I am an independent advisor, happy to help you today.

I'm sorry you're experiencing this issue with your Xbox Series X controller. Here are some possible solutions you could try:

Restart your Xbox console: Press and hold the power button on your Xbox console until it turns off. Next, disconnect the Xbox Series X from its power source. Turn off the Xbox controller and remove its batteries. Finally, connect and turn on your Xbox Series X.

Restart the controller: Press and hold the power button on the controller for several seconds until it turns off. Then turn it back on.

Pair the controller with the console again: Press and hold the sync button on the console until the power button flashes. Then, press and hold the sync button on the controller until the lights on the controller flash.

    Best regards.

Series x isn't recognizing RS for multiple controllers

Hello Amber C, My name is Khaji I am an independent advisor and I will be happy to help you today.

I'm sorry to hear that your Xbox Series X is not recognizing the right stick (RS) input for multiple controllers, and that you've already tried power-cycling and resetting both the console and the controllers. Here are a few additional steps you can try to troubleshoot the issue:

    1. Connect each controller to the console using a USB cable and check for any available updates. To update the controllers, go to the Xbox Accessories app on your console and follow the instructions to update the firmware if an update is available. Updating the controllers can sometimes resolve input recognition issues.

    2. To determine if the issue is specific to the Xbox Series X or the controllers themselves, try connecting the controllers to another device, such as a PC or another console, that supports Xbox controllers. Check if the right stick input is recognized on the other device. If the controllers work fine on the other device, it suggests that the issue may be with the Xbox Series X.

    3. On the Xbox Series X, go to the settings menu and navigate to the "Devices & connections" section. Select "Controller" and check the settings related to the right stick input. Ensure that the right stick is not disabled or assigned to a different function unintentionally. You can also try resetting the controller settings to default.

    4. Instead of a regular power cycle, try performing a full power cycle of your Xbox Series X. To do this, press and hold the power button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds until it fully shuts down. Then, unplug the power cord from the back of the console and wait for about 10 seconds. Plug the power cord back in and turn on the console. This can sometimes help resolve hardware-related issues.

Thank you very much for your patience and understanding! If you need anything else, do not hesitate to contact us again.

    controller fix

I'm having a similar issue on a Series X my controller will work for a awhile in multilayer then I'll lose my right stick. Even when I switch to another controller during play that one will also have an issue with the right stick. If I power down then back on it will work for awhile maybe even hours but then randomly does it again.

Looking for information about the types of plastics used in the Series X controller

Thanks for the reply, Fernando, but I’m trying to track down information about the regular old stock series x controller that you get with the console. The story you linked to discussed two new controllers (at least the colors are new). If anything, this story would have to confirm that the regular old series x controller is NOT PCR, since using PCR on these new controllers is deemed newsworthy. Anybody else have any idea here? I have a hunch that the whole thing (the regular series x controller) is made with ABS, but I can’t seem to find any information that supports that guess.
