    Series X controller freezes since August update v 5.11.3118.0 with no soultion


    Xbox series X controller freezes and is not responding always while headset is connected to the controller only. This is going on since last controller update on August 2021 version 5.11.3118.0. This happens randomly.

    This issue is going on since Augsut and until today no soultion or a new firmware to fix this issue.

    I am sure that this is from the new firmware. Because 2 months ago I tried to update the controller through pc and it took me back to the previous version and everything returned back to normal for such a long timr. Until I decided to click on update button on my xbox and it took me back to v 5.11.3118.0. The controller started to freeze.

    It is so frustratig really. I can not do roll back for the SX controller update, however I can do roll back for series 2 and xbox one computer.

    I read in the community that a lot of people are suffering from this issue after the latest update while headest is attached to controller and the controller is connected through wireless to Xbox.

    Any help? Or any news that microsoft will fix this issue.

    Thank you Jesee, but I can not do this method with SX controller. I get an error and it is written that your controller has the latest update.

    Unfortuntly this method only works with series 2 and xbox one controllers only :(
    managed to solve ? I have the same problems, same update, headset connected and I have free drift
