    Series X controller disconnects w/ Xbox One


    I bought a Series X controller to replace the original controller for my Xbox One as one of the buttons wasn't working anymore. I received it an found that it was disconnecting and reconnecting several times per minute as I was playing several different
    games. I contacted support and tried many different approaches to fix the issue, none of which worked. They determined that the controller was bad and had me exchange it. I received the replacement and the same issue is happening. I have managed to work around
    the issue by plugging it in via USB, but I would like to use it via wireless as intended. Are there any other suggestions to try.

    Vanguard Controller issue ...

    Connecting the controller with a USB cable doesn't work,

    Controller still disconnects even with a USB cable connected,

    I have the same issue with Series X using mouse and keyboard for Call of Duty Vanguard.

    I played during the beta and there was no problems with the controller disconnecting but as soon as the game released, the controller disconnects,

    I've tried a Xbox One controller Series X controller, with batteries and a USB cable, and the controllers still disconnects.

    Thank you for the response but my controller is completely up to date. It actually just happened for the first time again with the xbox one x controller I was using. I think it's built in to the xbox series x/one x/one to stop recording if the controller is disconnected which causes this issue and makes the footage unusable. Not sure if you have a fix for that in particular but if not it seems it will continue to be an issue.

    Microsoft Elite Controller 2 disconnects from XBOX One X intermittently

    This did not work, I also noticed that if I shut off the XBOX One X it disconnects this controller and I have to reconnect it on startup. This does not happen with my other controllers just the Elite series 2 one.. I'll request a replacement

    Xbox Series X|S controllers are fully compatible with the Xbox One, One S and One X. Also the Xbox One controllers work on the new Series consoles.
