    Series X Cod Cold War


    I just paid $100(cdn + tax's in) for the cross gen version of this game digitally on the store. It kept on crashing and crashing until I figured out to turn off the ray tracing and motion blur. Then the game started working, I could play Campaign and zombies.
    Well I did 2 separate rounds on zombies and both times it crash back to the Xbox Dash. Not impressed. Then I seen on YouTube. You take your Call of Duty and uninstall that then go to the store and manage the game from there and it will show you the correct
    Xbox series X /S installation there and it look good being 180 gigs or so but when it start downloading it popped to 133 gigs for the total install which is wrong. Is this part of the smart delivery being not so smart I wonder?

    Nevertheless I'm stuck with a game that is half broken and does not use the full potential of the system and I'm not happy at all. I don't even have a disk to show for this to call this $100 paperweight. Just an eyesore now. Is it going to be an update for
    this coming out or is there a fix that someone can tell me about that will work this time.

    Hi!

    Maybe you have the Xbox One version of COD Cold War and you see that message because the Xbox One version cannot be upgraded to Xbox Series X. You can find more informations about COD Cold War editions here:

    What is the game in question?

    Are you sure you purchased it via the account your signed in with ?

    Have you downloaded the correct version for the game you bought?

    For eg CoD BO : cold war has 2 versions: an xbox one and a xbox series x version.

    But it is possible to play the xbox one version on the series x via backward compatibility.
