    Series X Audio Issues


    So I've had my Series X for a little while now and the audio has always sounded perfect. As of the past few weeks from the day of writing this, I've been experiencing bits of sound distortion, crackling, and popping coming through my TV whenever using the Xbox.

    I also had one instance where the sound just completely distorted and sounded like some kind of non-stop robotic sounding buzzer that drowned out all sound from the games/apps I used. I restarted the console which solved it momentarily, but that led me to the problem I have now with frequent distortion, crackling and popping.

    I searched to see if anyone else had this issue and saw the solutions. I gave them a try to no avail. I even did the full system reset and reinstalled all the games and apps I had before. It worked for a day or two, but now I'm right back to hearing the crackling, popping, and audio distortion when playing games or using apps. It even does it when just navigating the menu. This isn't normal, right?

    Why is my Series X having audio issues?

    Audio issues here but only when streaming movies and shows on Prime Video and Disney Plus so far. The Series X sucks. The One X is/was better.

    Xbox series x no sound

    My issue is the same. My additional input: I just bought the X-Box Series X 2 weeks ago. I transferred all my games over. At first, every game I tried worked fine. Then the system suddenly decided yesterday to upgrade the newer games to the Series X versions of the games. Every game that is older and doesn't have a Series X upgrade works perfectly. It's only the games that have upgraded to Series X versions of the games that have "no audio" issues.

    For reference, I do have a Samsung smart TV as well, a I've been reading other with this issue may also have. I have audio on the dashboard.

    Hoping for a fix soon. Thanks.
