Series X and S can’t connect to wifi

I’m sorry to hear you’re experiencing this issue, have you tried any troubleshooting steps so far such as restarting your router/modem?

If that doesn't work, I advise trying a LAN cable connection instead if possible. If the issue persists over LAN, or you can not use a LAN cable, you could test a different WiFi network such as a mobile hotspot to help isolate this issue.

The xbox series x/s is completely incapable of connecting to hidden wifi networks. There are various tricks/hacks people are using which may or may not work, but it is not supported natively.

I cannot connect to hidden wifi networks. It will not find my ssid when manually entered.

yes i have done all the above..if i have it connected via ethernet it is fne but when i go to use the wifi it wont work,,says console is connected but when i try to access my games says a connection error,,, does it on my series s and my xbox one s .. and a friends series x is doing it

Nope I don’t have mesh, no boosters or anything.

Both machines connected to main hub wifi, and both machines in the same room so can’t even blame distance etc.

Can’t run an ethernet to them as wife will kill me for running cables but i will move the series X into the front room and try it via cable tonight

It’s just baffled me that the X is having crappy downloads but the One isn’t

Xbox One S, not series S. And I just tried and it says it connected on my phone but “can’t connect to the internet”,on my xbox
