    Hello,

    Submitted a problem report as well.

    The update the other day, xb_flt_2108co.210727-2200, has rendered a few of my accessories to be unrecognized.

    My external SSD (Samsung T5 1TB) that I store non-Series X optimized games on is no longer recognized despite receiving power.

    My Astro A50 base station is no longer recognized despite receiving power. I mostly use the XB Wireless Headset now but still worth noting.

    My Razer wired controller does work though.

    I’ve tried all USB ports. Just wanted to mention here to see if I’m alone or not on this. The USB issue started immediately after the ~550MB update installed the other day.

    Xbox Series X Sync button/synced controller stopped. Sync button must work as I am able to get to BIOS. Sync button wont blink.

    In this case, it wouldn't be a bad idea to update your controller's firmware. You can do this on your Series X or your Windows 10 PC. To do it on the Series X, connect it using the USB cable and then go to Settings > Devices & connections > Accessories, and then select the controller you want to update. On the Xbox Wireless Controller screen, select “…” to check the firmware version for your controller. Then, select the Firmware version square, and then press Next to start the update process.

    To do it on Windows 10, just download the Xbox Accessories app from the Microsoft Store. If you already have it installed, just run it. After opening the app, the procedure to update is the same one as on the Series X, press the "..." button and follow those steps.

    Check if your controller works correctly after doing this.

    Will the Xbox One Play & Charge Kit be compatible with the Xbox Series X?

    Xbox One accessories and peripherals will be compatible with Xbox Series X. As to whether the rechargeable battery packs are compatible with an Xbox Series X controller, that has not yet been revealed at this time, to my knowledge. However, the new controller
    will use USB-C for its charging port instead of the Play & Charge Kit's Micro-USB plug.
