Series S wont download games I already own

I bought a series S because my old xbox one decided to tear up on me. Well the series S is refusing to let me fully download and play digital games that I already owned (that were purchased digitally when I owned the xbox one). I can only get to the launch screen, its very frustrating. I cant find where to put in a trouble ticket and theres no phone number listed for customer support (only an option to put in for a call back). So hopefully someone here can tell me what to do. Or maybe give me a customer support number so I can call when its convenient for me. Thanks!

We recommend accessing Settings > Network Settings > Advanced Settings > Alternate Mac Address > Clear it and the console should restart. It would definitely help if you could restart the internet router while the console is restarting.

After going through the troubleshooting steps mentioned, I invite you to perform a quick power cycle by turning off the console and then unplugging all the cables. After 2 to 3 minutes, re-plug them back again, then restart your console.

In case the issue still persists, the next step would be to perform a reset on the console. To do so you will need to follow the steps below to perform a reset on the Xbox :

Settings > System > Console Info > Reset This Xbox > Reset and Keep my Games and Apps.

Note =>The "Reset and Keep my Games and Apps" option will not cause losing your games, but please be aware that you need to be completely aware of the email address as well as the password of your account before going for it because it will require you to sign in to the account.

If you wish to contact the online support team, you won't be able to call the support but you can access Contact us | Xbox Support. Follow the instructions after clicking on the green button "Contact us" and choose to get help either from an online chat agent or request a callback. Make sure the region on the support website is set to your correct region in order not to find issues with the steps.

Hi i bought the digital version for series s after owning the CD for the one and it wont let me play any thing ??

Okay so just to make sure I understand.....

I make my sons Series S (MY) Home Console.....

He can play Online with me if I am on my PC signed in as me.
I can also sign into my own Series X and play my games.

We wont be playing together on XBOX on both Series S and Series X.

Just writing in here because I just finished setting up my Xbox Series-S and just finished transferring a game I already own and it looks like I have to repurchase a game I already own? Is this correct?

I have the receipt of the game and disc in hand.

I hope there is a right resolution to this.

Unfortunately the Xbox Series S is unable to read disks so you are not able to use your physical copies of games on this console

As you've already mentioned, you can't use disc based games on a Series S. The games would have to be owned digitally.
