Series S weird sound issue

Hello again, thanks for the feedback, it's really curious what happened after the TV update, I happen to have an LG and it never happened, but even firmware udates may come with bugs that will be fixed later.

sooo it appears I may have figured it out. I have a Samsung tv. It just did an update the other day. And it seems the switch in and out of game mode automatically, is causing the sound issue. I turned off the auto game mode switching and left the game mode on permanently, and now the sound doesn’t cut out when changing games or apps. I am curious if anyone else with a Samsung tv is experiencing this

Hello Bdm634, that sound you're referring to, does it come from inside the console, or does it come from television when you're trying to play a game or watch Netflix?

You've tried some procedure on the console like resetting the factory console to see if it's back to normal if you haven't tried to follow the procedure below.

Press the Xbox button to open the panel.

Select system > system > console > system

Select Reset console.

Reset and delete everything.

Note - You need to know the email and passwords of your accounts when performing this reset.

If because of this noise your console has been affected in performance, gameplay etc. even if the console is out of warranty you have paid repair service from Microsoft.

Sounds difficult I’m new to this used to the physical copy wanted to try something new it seems no stores has it available for preorder for Xbox Series S which is weird to me

You may need to use the optical audio out on your 360, yes, it has one, it's on the cable. Sometimes, there is an HDMI "off/on" setting in the menu of your TV or DVD player. Are all your settings set properly on your 360 and TV? If all else fails, use the
optical audio cable.
