Series S set up failure

Hello. Xbox One died today, or at least the endless green and black SOD indicated as such. I bought a Series S, brought it home, it would not connect at all. Tried for hours, drove back and exchanged it. The second Series S I was able to get connected through the app, and the unit updated. But now, any login attempt at all is met with a different screen each time. The Xbox black background white logo. The settings infotile. My gamer profile image asking who is playing. And more. In a rotation. Sometimes the screen vibrates/shakes, sometimes not. Sometimes the Hello, button is large, sometimes it is small.

Worse yet, none of the controllers I have synched actually move the cursor/action box. Pressing A I hear a beep, but nothing moves. Nothing. And yet, in the background there are actions being received by the Xbox. How do I know? Because somehow in my upset state I pressed enough buttons and moved the joy stick to purchase Halloween Kills Extended Cut. I'll totally watch it, but it's not one I would have purchased.

I've reset, rebooted, hard reset, started from scratch, synched multiple controllers (my original two worked just fine on my now dead Xbox One. The new controller that came with the Series S is just as ineffective as the two I owned already.

Help please. What is happening and why is this not working?

Hello, Spartan. I wish I could. The unit sat unplugged and in the box since I posted on Sunday. Today my son, who'd also spent hours over the weekend, plugged it in at his gaming station. Booted up just fine, full sync and function of the controllers. Brought it to my gaming station, connected again.

100% amazed and uncertain. No idea what three days of sitting would have done. The only thing we can think of is the power strip I did have it plugged into didn't transfer enough power. Seems odd, as his Series X is plugged into a strip, but hey, I'm going with it.

Could we leave this message open for a few days until I get a game or two loaded and tested?

Its having general hardware failure. It needs a repair. Either you will be able to set that up at
www.xbox.com/support for a $99 fee since its most likely out of warranty or pay an extra $100 for a new S Xbox 4gb series for $199.99+ tax. But that is what is happening, its dying sad to say.

Series s is not meant to use a disk drive AA IRA far too small and lacks the security chip

Ontop of that you would need more storage

Series s is specifically designed to use less space not more as you need space for temporary files for installation and swap files since you need to constantly buffer to keep up with the disk reading

And digital consoles are designed as digital consoles not disks

This is regardless of console

Only thing on the books is ps5 pro with the modular design but as proven with Lego phoneand moto z series modular has been proven a failure

Your suggestion. Would be more expensive then the piice difference between series s and x
