    Series S - Random Problem & Energy Management problems!?


    I have my Series S since the beginning of December. Changing for example Settings for HDMI CEC always lets the xbox freeze after reboot. or the controller. if the controller is "frozen" - the xbox finally reboots when i remove the battery. if the xbox cannot reboot by itself, i have to long-press the xbox button..this "behaviour" also happened a couple of times, when i want "fully turn off" my console within the settings app ...

    joined the insider program, because i was hoping for a fix - but still sometimes the same problems. like today - another freeze - but ...

    i have my xbox configured for "energy saving". so the xbox should not turn on itself to do updates etc. but it still does! this behaviour was also in the public channel and still is an issue in the beta channel.

    even my xbox one x now turns itself on to do updates, even when energy saving mode is activated ... the problem is, the xbox one x is functioning fine - today my series S was HOT af. i turned my xbox off yesterday at 11pm - 9am i looked and it was still running! the fan was running pretty slowly and the heat was higher than when i am playing a game ....

    i tried to turn on the xbox on controller - controller light flashed - but nothing. pushed the xbox button on the console - startet to beep and light itself up - but nothing. even my external xbox hdd from seagate was NOT running, but the console was, somehow. pushed the button again, another beep but still nothing ....



    only a hard-reboot with power cord off was bringing her back to life. when the console is running, everything works fine. sometimes the "new" controller freezes itself (battery remove needed), but overall no issues.



    but all these other issues ... i like the series S - but i feel like an alpha tester for the hardware ... because my device had the same issues without the insider build. i was just joining, because i was hoping for a fix ... bit strange :/ does anyone have same experiences?

    threre s a lot people having this problem i haven t this problem yet on my xbox one console but i will keep close eye on my xbox one. if your xbox one is on instant on mode try to put your xbox one on energy saving mode. the reason why i havent
