Series S Controller analog stick sensitivity issues

For about a week now I've has serious issues with the sensitivity on the Series S controller (standard one). The sensitivity is way too high.

in fps games moving the stick to make slight adjustments to aim results in it moving way across the screen.

similar in driving games, slight adjustments make the car turn at almost 45 degrees

tried all the usual, recalibrated, restored to default, updated firmware., even reset console

did read that this had happened to other people after the 5.23.5.0 firmware update but I tried it with another new controller still on the 5.9.2709.0 firmware and same result

also tried the same controllers on same games on PC and they are fine.

anyone with similar issues? any solutions would be appreciated as it is making some gaming pretty much impossible on the xbox

im having issues with the left analog stick sensitivity. the left analog stick isn't sensitive enough so in order to run i have to move it all the way and the controller shell is cutting into the plastic of it.

The Elite series controllers allow you to make changes to the sensitivity of the analog sticks. Also look at the forza horizon in game settings for sensitivty changes.

The latest Xbox controller firmware update may affect Bluetooth connectivity and performance with some devices. If your controller is having Bluetooth-related issues after a firmware update, you can choose to revert your controller to an earlier firmware version and see if it will resolve the issue.

On your Xbox console, press the Xbox button to open the guide, and then go to Profile & system > Xbox Support > Get help > Help topics > Hardware & networking > Controllers > My Xbox controller has connection issues after the last update. Select Check your controller’s firmware to open the controller firmware reversion screen in the Xbox Accessories app, and then follow the instructions in the app.

Might be a controller issue. Very used controllers tend to get the analog to stick a bit to one direction. Try to Roll both Analog sticks to sort of unstick and recenter the analog sticks. Or better yet replace the controller for a new one. Mine sometimes
get stuck a bit to the right and my character looks to the right very very slowly.

In MW3 try to adjust the look sensitivity to the lowest possible setting. If then your character slowly looks upward to the sky then i guess the analog sticks need repair. Adjusting the sensitivity to a higher setting will make your character look up to
the sky way faster than the lower sensitivity settings. This is a clear sign of old controllers that needs replacment. If ever your controller is still new then hopefully you can exchange it for a new one.

It is smaller but the main thing that is taking getting used to is the increased sensitivity of he analog sticks as compared to the 360 controller.
