    Series S consistently crashing.

My series s cannot play any game for an hour without crashing. This has been especially bad with the new 2K which crashes about 1 minute into play regardless of the game mode. I’ve tried a factory reset and everything else Microsoft has on its FAQs. This is the first time I’ve ever gotten a console right after its came out so this is especially frustrating. Has anyone else had this problem and is there a fix that actually works?

    :)

Hello, how are you? My name is Mateus. I'm an Independent Advisor and I'll be glad to help you today.

First, welcome to the Xbox community.

We appreciate your coming to the community, about the NBA 2K22, it's a problem with the game itself, it's poorly optimized for the new generation consoles from Microsoft Xbox Series S/X, both are suffering from crashes in this game, the developer already is aware of and is working with Microsoft to resolve these issues, you can check this information in the links below.

If you are having problems with other games this is not normal, so I recommend you to try the solutions below.

    Solution 1:

Step 1. Press and hold the Xbox button on the console for at least 10 seconds to open the Power center.

Step 2. Then unplug the power supply from your console and wait for 3 minutes.

Step 3. Plug the power supply back into the Xbox console.

Step 4. Press the Xbox button on the console to turn it on again.

    Solution 2:

Go to console settings, general tab>network and internet settings>advanced options>alternative mac address>click clear. After that restart your console.

    Solution 3:

Press the Xbox button  to open the guide.

Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

    Select Reset console.

On the Reset your console? screen, you'll see three options:

*Select the option to keep your games and apps so that they are not deleted, also make sure you know your email and password as they will be removed from the console and you will need to add them again.

*If the option to keep your games and applications doesn't solve the problem, do the same procedure again, but choose to delete everything from the console, as it may have something corrupted.

    Solution 4:

Update your offline, follow the instructions in the article below.

*We thank you in advance for contacting us, I hope this can help you.

The game is also a problem the X as well

seems that the game developer did not calibrate the game properly for the various console models

every generation of xbox has seen the machine specs vary such as the Xbox Xne X over the original Xbox One

Hello, first it's a pleasure to be able to help you today.

My name is welcome to the community.

Hello Justin, is this happening only with these two games or with all the games you try to play on the console?

You mention that you have already tried some procedures, however try to remove the quick resume of the games that you have installed on your console and then clean the cache.

    1. Go to the Xbox press and hold the XBOX power button on the console for 10 seconds until it turns off

    2. Wait 10 seconds until it turns off

    3. Wait 1 minute with it off

    4. Turn it back on
