Series S connection issues…

my xbox series s says it’s connected to the internet but either loads everything extremely slow or doesn’t load anything at all. it says the NAT type is open and that all services are available but still nothing is loading. it’s not a problem with my internet. every other device i have connects fine. i’ve tried turning off the console and power cycling and it didn’t work. i’ve tried switching to the alternate internet and it also didn’t work. how do i fix this? i take care of my xbox there’s no reason this should be happening. i’m starting to get fed up with xbox in general. it’s like there’s a new problem with your consoles every week. i’ve never owned a console this problematic before besides the xbox one.

Also for more information my Xbox series s will connect to this internet. And after contacting t mobile they said it was not an issue on their side.

Just to cover the possibility, did you tried connecting the console to a completely different wifi network?
For example sharing mobile data via wifi hotspot and connect your console in that way.

If the issue persists with other networks. Try the next :

go to Settings > Network > Advanced Settings

Once you’re inside the Advanced Settings menu, go to DNS settings and select Manual from the list of available options.
When you get to the next screen, enter 8.8.8.8 in the box associated with the Primary DNS and 8.8.4.4 in the Secondary DNS box.

Once the default DNS addresses have been changed, restart your console and see if the issue has been resolved at the next console startup.
(If that doesn't improve the network use instead 1.1.1.1 as primary and 1.0.0.1 as secondary)

Or try cleaning your MAC address:

Select Setting > Network > Advanced Settings > Alternate MAC Address
Select Clear, restart your console and give it a new try

It used to work

"some internet issues" is pretty vague but try restarting your Xbox series s and if that doesn't work forget your Wi-Fi network then re-connect to it? lastly maybe try an ethernet cable?

Series S/X games cannot be played from a hard drive connected via USB. Series S/X games can only be played from the internal drive or the official expansion cards that attach directly in the back of the console. Again, no USB connected drives can play Series S/X games.
