    Series 2 Elite Controller Repair Assistance


    Recently my right bumper on my Series 2 Elite Controller has started registering button presses only 50% of the time. My device is still under warranty. When attempting to place a service request for an issue relating to "device" and "bumpers", I get told
    the service request can not be continued and that I must contact support. This would be fine, however, when attempting to contact support for "hardware and networking" in the categories of "warranty" or "my controller isn't working right", I get prompted that
    calls and chat support are not available for my issue, and to try all the steps that just directed me to contact support in the first place.

    Does anyone know the correct avenue for getting out of this loop and in contact with a Microsoft Support Agent for this issue that doesn't involve abusing the system to talk to someone?

    why are xbox one controllers so faulty and wear out fast and unreliable compared to other xbox controller generatioms

    The elite controller series one did have a few faults but did have a good repair back up system but the stronger one is the series 2.

    This will be a virtual assistant but with a few keywords like "elite controller series 2" and "broken" you will eventually be asked to provide your serial number and this will lead to chat and request a repair.

    I     tried to fill out repair order, but, as mentioned above, those are the only options i got.

    Bumper IS a known issue, as you can see.

    Btw., it doenst matter what caused 2 years warranty, it is in place and i'm in the right to use it.
