Serial number too long

    Serial number too long


    I am trying to register my xbox 360 so I can send it in for repairs. Its only 3 mos old. The serial number is too long. Ive tried online support and they say its too long... and its not getting me anywhere.

    I have verified the serial number on the back of the xbox, on the front, and even on the original box. Its all the same.... So what do I do??????

    It has a 13 digit number beginning with 08.

    Controller serial number too long?

    I've tried doing it through the repair page but this also required a serial number which it won't allow me to apply ?

    Controller serial number too long?

    I had contacted phone support about this in the past. Controllers are not meant to be registered. If there is an issue with it you can either set up a repair/replacement through the repair page or by contacting support.

    Serial number too long

    Kindly verify it on System Info which is under Console Settings to check the 12 digit SN of your console.

    Correct you can find the information out by getting on your xbox going into your settings and then system information you should find your serial number there

    I had contacted phone support about this in the past. Controllers are not meant to be registered. If there is an issue with it you can either set up a repair/replacement through the repair page or by contacting support.
