September Game Pass Reward.

So, I'm noticing something about September Game Pass Rewards. The people, like myself, who got a 10 year old movie, are pretty pissed. Those who got a $5 gift card, are pretty happy.

From what I can gather, those who did all the requirements got the movie, while everyone else got a $5 gift card.

Now, you could argue that the movie is a better value, unless you take into account that a lot of people own at least one copy of it already. Some own the Blue-Ray/DVD/Ultraviolet combo pack. You can also buy a copy for about $3 online or in a store. On
Xbox, it's priced at $13 for the digital copy.

Well, I'm stuck with a 4th copy of a mediocre movie, while other people get to pick their own reward with a free $5, or add it to their account for Shocktober. Get a season pass or something for $5 off. Even a cheap game.

I'm curious as to why it appears those who did more, appear to have gotten the short end of the stick. I know I personally don't care about a 10 year old movie most of the world already owns.

For reference, you can see on this reddit page, people aren't happy with the movie, but those who got $5 are a bit happier.

Thoughts?

Can anyone at Xbox remedy this?

There are also people saying the rewards were supposed to be worth more than those that we got.

Also, a laughably slim chance at a $500 store gift card, does not even out the prize.

September Game Pass Rewards

Hello, I participated in the September Game Pass Rewards where you downloaded up to five games and played 30 mins or more of each game. There were several prize tiers and it also lead to a ultimate prize.

I downloaded and played 4 games and more than 30 mins each. I waited for my reward, as it was supposed to come directly to my Xbox dashboard in the messages or via the Xbox app. Nothing ever arrived and I contacted Xbox Support. The agents would tell me
to wait, but then today, I was told to contact Xbox Live Rewards as they are not involved with this.

The original rules, as linked, show that they would be given away after the 30th within four weeks. I completed the reward tasks by the 14th of September.

I know several people that received their rewards, and even looked on forums such as Reddit. I have yet to receive any rewards and I even had a case with Xbox Support but was never returned with details on why I never received them.
