Seperate Headphones and Mic Setup

most pc's have seperate outputs for headphone and mic, you would need a splitter to plug into the back of the pc, or you could just get yourself a usb headset with virtual 7.1 for quite cheap and have much better audio.

I also had this question, and am having a very hard time finding any answers. I also would like to add another possible senario of buying a seperate mic (cheap one that ends in a 3.5 mm), connect the headphones and mic with a 2 female to 1 male adapter and
plug that in the controller. Anyone???

Sadly what you want to achieve exactly isn't possible. There is another way around but it means purchasing a "Startech.com 3.5mm 4 pin to 2x 3pin 3.5mm Headset Splitter Adapter - M/F" from amazon, along with a Stereo Headset adapter and another mic. You
then plug your Krackens into the headphone part of the splitter the seperate mic into the MIC part and then plug that into the Xbox Stereo Headset Adapter.

Keep in mind you will have no mic support on the headphones you've selected (no Mic input). You may want Mic support, which would mean a different headphone selection.



If you go with a normal headphone setup, you'd want to pick up an optical cable to go from the optical out on the 360 S to the Fiio D3, then an

RCA to stereo mini-jack cable to plug the headphones into.

if the mic has a seperate jack than the speakers than yes you can get a adaptor for the 360 looks like this:

then you can plug the headphones into one jack and the mic into the other.
