Seperate Display name.

Interesting idea but I think it's easier for them to stick with the current system.

The issue is that there are many gamertag already very similar when its popular such as obi wan....

I personally dont like the new numbers thing, I think a unique tag should be that, but understand ms view and this gives a way to keep a unique ID but allow name to be same

With your suggestion you could have several players on popular games using same name and yes you can click in maybe to differentiate but would you know which one team killed spawn camped etc?

I'm one of the people that play games, and I do want the same gamertag across them all thanks. I totally understand that it isn't for everyone, but try not to claim that you speak for everyone.

I entirely understand where you're coming from, but likewise... the numbers are there to differentiate: if another 'Lythix' but with a different number starts causing problems then the numbers are there to protect you from getting their negative behaviour
attributed to you by mistake.
