Separating chat from game audio while streaming from xbox one to PC

When streaming from the xbox to a PC (with a controller and headset connected to the PC) is there any way to have the chat audio only on the headset while the rest of the game audio go to a different device like speakers? I can sort of accomplish this if
I do the streaming and have a controller/headset that is connected directly to the xbox but not if connected on the PC.

Not sure if i need to be on this forum or another ---

When i'm streaming to my pc, and use my xbox one chat headset, all of the audio comes through the headset, including game sound.

Is it possible to separate game sound into speakers, and voice into headset while streaming to a windows 10 pc?

A party chat overlay while streaming a game from Xbox one would be nice.

For me, I tend to use strictly party chat when I am communicating with my friends.

If I want to separate the party chat audio from the in-game audio,, I have to make a party in the Xbox App on Windows 10. You don't have to have your xbox even on at this point. Once the party has started in the Xbox App and my buddies join, I can hear them
fine through my xbox headset.

Now once you actually turn on your xbox, and start streaming. The Audio for the game will come through your speakers, and the audio for the Party should remain through the headset, both separate from each other.

Its not the best solution, but its definitely a clever workaround., however its not really that ideal, because it is a pain to work with, because you cannot control the party while streaming within the xbox. You literally have to end the stream and return
into the xbox app to configure the party settings.

Other than that, the only downside is, that any VOIP chat from any games will still want to push through your speakers and not your headset.

I've been using that approach for the past couple of days and it seems to mostly work. The only odd thing I've noticed is that in some games I see the in-game mic notification going on and off occasionally as-if I'm talking in game chat even though I am
only in party chat on the xbox app. Makes me paranoid and thinking that the mic output is going to both party chat and game chat at the same time (which is definitely not my intentions).

The answer depends on how you are streaming your gameplay. If you are using the Twitch app on your Xbox Series X, then your stream will only pick up the audio from the chat channel that you are currently in. So, if you switch from party chat to in-game chat, your stream will also switch to in-game chat audio. However, if you are using a capture card or a PC to stream your gameplay, then you may have more options to control the audio sources. For example, some capture cards have separate audio inputs for game sound and chat sound, so you can choose which one to include in your stream. For that you would need a capture card to stream from the PC with the in game chat audio

Thank you for your assistance.

We solved half of my problems. My audio is now streaming to twitch. However, game chat is not. Last week on I was able to stream my mics audio AND my IN GAME chat audio to twitch directly from my Xbox series S, meaning my PC and Playstation party mates audio was making it into my stream.

That is not happening now. Slightly less frustrating but still quite.
