Sent my Elite controller for repair but it came back the same.

Hi guys,

I sent my Elite controller off for repair early this year as I had issues with the shoulder buttons being cracked and unresponsive. I received the controller back naively believing that the issue would have been fixed. After recently contacting support again
for a replacement, the Microsoft colleague told me that a repair for accessories isn't standard practise as that usually for hardware. Accessories should be replaced with a brand new model. Clearly I didn't receive that when I first requested the repair. Unfortunately
I'm now out of warranty so the problem couldn't be resolved.

Is there anyway I can complain about the service and hopefully get the replacement which I should have initially received?

Broken Controller... Again

Hi, Last year, I sent you back my Elite Controller because one of the button was broken because of natural deterioration. The concerned button was the RB one. Now, I have the same problem. I guess my controller is under waranty. I hope so because it seems
the repair work was not enough. I am asking for a new repair or a change of the controller because of a recurrent problem. Thanks for answer my request.

Does the wireless adapter help the controller disconnect problem?

Like I said in an earlier post, I've already had it sent for repair and it came back exactly the same

the warranty is typically 90 days in the states for accessories and 90 days from the day you receive your controller back from the repair center.

Try and contact support again and see if they will be able to create another repair order for you to send your controller back into them.

You can request a call back or chat with support at http://support.xbox.com/contact-us If you're not seeing those options, change your category/topic until you do. Billing & Subscriptions and "I don't recognize a charge" usually works for me.

Unfortunately, the support person you originally spoke to did give incorrect information. Hopefully support can rectify it, but there is no guarantee they will ship anything back that was sent in.

A long time ago when my 360 elite got rrod and was sent away for a warranty repair, it came back with a code for a month of xbox live in the box!

my 1st elite: crash gumi grips. send back to service, but i buy a new one for this 2 week. Try this new: right stick drift to right...

ok, my 1st elite came back, try this. left stick drift to right (fresh new controller from ms service)

ok i sent back this 2 broken Elites.

1-2 week done, get 2 new fresh Elites... tested... both new Elite's (my 3rd and 4th) left sticks drift to right...

my last 5 Elites broken, 3 fresh from Xbox Support. Thats a big joke.
