Real world:

Step 1: is controller bad: yes

Step 2: replace or fix controller

Step 3: send back new or fixed controller.

Microsoft germany:

Step 1: is controller bad: yes

Step 2: repackage and send back controller 😂😂

I had the same problem but I sent a series s controller and I got a one s controller in return, and the series s controller I sent came with my Xbox, brand new

I've also had a controller with a drift issue. I just sent it back under warranty and it got replaced quickly. Luckily the new controller did not have that issue

If you have a warranty on the controller you can return it and get a new one or look up on Youtube/google a tutorial on how to fix controller drift. Hope this helps

I did not activate the Microsoft warranty as it was out of warranty and I had to purchase the replacement controller that was sent to me. The controller is faulty and I want a refund of the replacement order and return the faulty controller sent to me
