Sensitive controlers

I have 2 controlers. The first came with the xbox. The second i bought about 6 months later. A few days ago both controlers became very sensitive in the main menus and the minecraft menues.

Also the right controler on both drift. This happened to both controlers at the same time. I highly doubt hardware problem.

I have unplugged the xbox and removed the batteries from the controlrr.

try clearing the cache on your console by holding down the powerbutton for 10 seconds.

Retry afterwards.

Hi! As mentioned performing a hard reset/power cycle might help in this case: Restart or Power Cycle Xbox One Console

If above doesn't help, try to plugin both controllers via a microUSB cable to your Xbox One for at least 10 minutes in order to let them update if necessary.

A suggestion we can provide, would be to reset the console to factory settings.

To be more specific, perform a soft factory reset.

this.

Be sure to find Reset and Keep My Games and Apps.

you can also turn down the sensitivity of the aiming in the controller options

X sensitivity controls how fast you look left and right

Y sensitivity controls how fast you look up and down

I've never had any issues with sensitivity either with the stock controller or with the elite controller which I now use, in all fairness I've never had sensitivity issues with my PS4 controller either but it would also be fair to say that as a primary
PC gamer I'm used to ultra sensitive control methods!

I play on 4. Fast enough to pretty much turn on anyone but still aim accurately. I also play on tactical. Why? Much faster to duck in and out of cover, dropshot and I literally never even think about knifing people.
