Sending xbox one elite controller for repairs

It's best that you send in your controller for repair, you can do this by following the steps on this support page

I am going to try calling again because I was looking at the support page for the Xbox One Elite Controller and it says if you send it in for repair to keep all removable accessories and only send the controller in.

Have you registered your console first and then tried to start the repair request for the controller.

I believe they will repair or replace the grips if you send them in for service.

You will put in a service request here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/devices
under your console. Change the category to Accessories and then under select issue type select Elite Controller. Then input your PID number from the controller and click create repair order.

Have you another controller till you can send the Elite Controller in for repairs? we are not allowed to have any discussions of self-repair on this forum, sorry
