Sending xbox for repair uk

i have an xbox that will not update games, it updates console updates fine so its a bit odd, tried the hard reset a few times and deleting and reinstalling etc but microsoft say it needs to go for repair but it seems you have to virtually book it in and
pay before finding out a few things, prices ? where would i send it ? Is it in the uk ? Timescale ? Do i get my own console back ? Etc

Any general infornation would be most appreciated

Xbox sent for repair

Hey guys, girls and gamers!

Just a quick question regarding sending off an xbox one for repair. I've sent mine off, it's arrived in Frankfurt, Germany, for repair. Do I get an email when the repair is complete? If so, does it contain a tracking number? I'm in the UK so anyone in the UK
who has done the same, if you could reply, I'd be grateful!

You can contact support and they can walk you through setting it up. If it's still under warranty it will be free. I'm not sure how much it is in the UK for an out of warranty repair though, but they would give you that information. They'll also send you
a prepaid label so all you'll need to do is put it in a box and send it off. Depending on what they'll need to do, you usually don't get your own console back.

you may not get a refund and you may have to send for repair.

not sure which country you are in but in the UK after 30 days they can opt to send for repair or exchange, after 6 months you have to prove it was a manufacturing fault.

Hi. The warranty ran out in February, unfortunately. I wonder if there's a repair centre that people can send their devices to in the UK.

if you are in the UK take it back to the place of purchase.

under 30 days of purchase they are obligated to replace it at store, after this and under 6 months they can send to Microsoft for repair, or replace or refund whichever they choose, after 6 months they send to repair, or replace.
