Sending elite controller back for exchange/repair.

Hi, I was wondering if anyone had any experience doing this, It doesn't have to be a controller, anything really.

I've had to send my Elite controller in, was told I'd get a replacement. Now On the website it days 10 business days, they received it ( according to the tracker) 13 BUSINESS days ago, meaning over 2 weeks regular.

Does anyone have any experience with the Australian service center? Is this something I should be worried about or do I just keep waiting?

Honestly, If it was a regular controller I wouldnt have even sent it ( in fact I dont even think theyre covered) but the Elites arent cheap kit.

I miss playing with it for starters, secondly I'd hate to think it's gone and gotten lost in there somewhere.

    :)

  3. Questions about the Advanced Exchange

Get the exchange, for sending in your console for repair can take some time (Weeks even) and if Xbox repair centers are anything like they were back in 2002.

You're likely to get back a console with more problems than it left with.

And they don't extend your warranty by those day's/weeks that your system was out for repair. So your actually loosing warranted time by sending in for repairs as well.

So the best way to go is via the exchange services IMO.

Hi, 2-3 weeks is the norm for repairs/replacements. Give it another week and then give support a call perhaps, make sure you have the service request number to hand when you call.

I bought my Xbox One less than 3 months ago. My brother got married and he took his video game with him (he has a play 3). So I decided that it was time that I had my own console. Some friends have the Xbox and I really like it, so I've decided for the Xbox
    One for myself.

Less than 2 months after I bought it (3-4 weeks ago), I had problems (E102). I asked for a phone call, and the support tryed to help me restore the Xbox through the offline update. Nothing happened. So they sent me a repair order. One week after I sent my
Xbox, I've received a new one. But, on tuesday, one week after this, again, I had problems. This time, after I turned the Xbox on, I couldn't even change to the correspondent HDMI channel, like if my Xbox wasn't on. A few minutes later the green screen appeared,
and still, the system didn't initialized.

Today, I was informed that I have to sent again the Xbox to repair, one week after I received it from repair. I'm very upset and disapointed, especially because this console was sent by Microsoft to replace the one with a problem. I understand that this
kind of things happen, still, I can't help to wonder that maybe, just maybe, they should have tested the console before sending it to me to replace a "broken" one.

Are the more recent Xbox One controllers of better quality?

I really hope they are a lot better then the first gen, I went though six elites before I just gave up on exchanging for another one. I'll send mine back to Xbox for repairs.

Sending back an Xbox Elite controller for repair

Where did you find the label?

I have tried multiple times now and I cannot find the label anywhere.

Microsoft don't want to know even if you spend 170 on a controller!

    Thanks
