selling xbox

hello people im about to sell my 360 so I can get a xbox one so wanted to know if

1- can I transfer my 360 user name over to xbox one?

2- ive got 65 games on my HDD can the person use them games with there profile on that 360 or are they attached to my profile-user name if I dont delete them

I don't know... MW2 and Black Ops are still pretty popular. And if the Xbox/ controllers are in good condition, I don't know why he wouldn't get more, espeically if sold all together. Besides, who still expects a warranty on a used Xbox?

2. they are connected to your gamertag, so your Profile can Play them on any console, additionally on the console where they are purchased they can be played by any Profile as Long as it is connected to live - so its advised to format your hdd

If the content was purchased on that console then any profile can use it. Just make sure you remove your game saves and profile from it. Leaving content does not cause any harm to anything.

 

It is always best to format your hard drive when getting rid of it. The transfer of games to another person is against the TOS and can lead to enforcement action being taken. Since these were purchased with your account (one would assume), the action can
be taken against your account.

 

FYI no 360 games (including ones that you downloaded from the Marketplace) can be played on the One. so the only thing you would be able to use on the One would be the profile and any media you bought/downloaded.
