Selling Xbox, does warranty transfer? In the UK.

different countries have different rules, in the UK new tech has a 1 year warranty from date of purchase. then you can also purchase extended warranty for new products.

If used but bought from a shop/retail unit then the minimum warranty is 3 months but alot of stores in the UK will bump it up to 1 year (this kind of warranty is not a manufacturers warranty but the store itself).

either buy new or buy from a game or electronics store that sells used but with warranty, something like cex in the uk that provides 2 year warranties with most used goods.

Hi, if it was just the account that got suspended you're good to go ahead and sell the Xbox if you wish to, I don't believe the warranty is transferable though,

if it is a genuine store/retail shop and they are authorised to sell then the one year warranty applies in the UK. this is the law so as long as you have a valid receipt of purchase then your warranty starts from the date on that receipt.
